BAKERSFIELD, CA- A 30-year-old man is in stable condition Tuesday morning after sheriff's deputies said he was stabbed outside a bar in Oildale.
Deputies responded to a report of a stabbing at the Longbranch Saloon in the 900 block of North Chester Avenue at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
When deputies arrived they found a man suffering from a stab wound to the chest inside the bar.
Deputies believe the victim got into a fight with another man inside before they both left through the back door into the alley where the stabbing occurred.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
He is said to be in stable condition
Deputies said there is no suspect information at this time.
