BAKERSFIELD, CA - With the June primary Tuesday, Republican gubernatorial candidate Tim Donnelly made a campaign stop in Bakersfield Sunday afternoon.

Donnelly stopped by Area baseball parks in southwest Bakersfield before walking several precincts.

The San Bernadino County assemblyman said the biggest issue he will address if elected governor is jobs and overregulation.

"We have a governor who refuses to take a stand against the federal encroachment of our private property rights and our ability to make a living off the land Bakersfield's right in the heart of this battle. The entire central valley is at risk," Donnelly said.

A recent poll found Donnelly in a dead heat with Neel Kashkari.

Whichever candidate takes the second spot on Tuesday will run against Governor Jerry Brown in November.
