A candlelight vigil will be held in Bakersfield Monday evening, in memory of those who lost their lives in Connecticut.
The Children First campaign is rallying the community together for the outdoor service.
"I think it's important for all of us to take a pause, come together, pray and reflect and just reassess what's really important," said Andrae Gonzales, founder of Children First.
The vigil starts at six tomorrow night on the steps of the Bakersfield City School District office at 1300 Baker Street.
Everyone is encouraged to attend.
