If you're looking for some adventurous social time, the Assistance League of Bakersfield will host their 25th Annual Chez Noel Home Tour and Holiday Boutique.
There will be a walking tour through Kern's Christmas past with the Holiday Lamplight Tour starting tonight, Dec. 5, at the Kern County Museum.
The holiday lights tour consists of costumed participants, carolers and the big man himself transforming the Kern County Museum to give families a look at Christmas in the late 1800s.
Visitors can take guided tours of Pioneer Village, listen to carolers and entertainers throughout the grounds, view the decorated homes on a carriage ride through the village, take part in a victorian tea, play games, do crafts with the kids or visit San ta Claus as he pays a visit to the Bena Depot Train Station.
Tickets are just $8 for museum members ($10 for non-members) and family 4 packs are only $30. Tickets are on sale now at the Museum gift shop at 3801 Chester Avenue.
The event will continue on Dec. 6, 12, 13, 19, and 20.
