BAKERSFIELD, CA - Police need your help identifying a man they say lunged at a security guard while armed at a Fastrip store on South Union Avenue last month.
Police say on the night of November 15, a security officer at the Fastrip at 4901 So. Union Av. contacted the suspect who was loitering at the business and asked him to leave the property. The suspect brandished a small knife and metal pipe and lunged at the security officer.
The security officer was able to push the suspect away and the suspect fled eastbound on Pacheco Rd. from the business. The security officer was uninjured as a result of the attack.
Police describe the suspect, who is possibly a transient in the area, as a: hispanic man, 20’s, 5’7”, 140 lbs., black curly hair,
wearing a black and gray hooded sweatshirt and black shorts.
