New information has been released Thursday morning on a Lamont homicide that happened Wednesday night.
The Sheriff's Department says they found a 19-year-old man suffering from several stab wounds just after 8 o'clock in the 10 thousand block of Silver Street. He was taken to Kern Medical Center where he died.
Deputies say the victim was involved in a fight with two men in the alley when he was stabbed. The two men were seen running away.
The first is described as a Hispanic teen, 14 to 17 years old, approximately 5'10", thin build, shaved head, and wearing a dark blue tee-shirt and black shorts.
The second also is described as a Hispanic teen, 14 to 17 years old, approximately 5'6", medium build, shaved head, and wearing a dark blue tee-shirt and black shorts.
The two men were seen fleeing the area in a white newer model pickup truck. There were several other male riding in the truck.
Detectives say they don't know the motive and the victim's name has not yet been released.
