BAKERSFIELD, CA. - The coroner has reported the identity of a woman that died as a result of being struck by a vehicle.
Marcelina Weathers, 89, of Bakersfield was transported to Kern Medical Center and admitted to the ICU but later died due to injuries sustained.
The incident happened at the 2600 block of Fashion Plaza in Bakersfield around 11:30 a.m. on Oct, 26. She died on nov. 1.
Her family has been notified.
