BAKERSFIELD, CA - A correctional officer accused of sexually assaulting a teenager at juvenile hall is under arrest. Bakersfield police say 35-year-old Cesar Navejar is accused of touching a 17-year-old girl inappropriately with his hands when she was inside her cell.
She also told detectives he knocked on her cell window and began making a "petting" motion. Documents say investigators found a shoe print in the flower bed just outside the girl's window.
Navejar was arrested Thursday just after three in the 2000 block of Ridge Road.
He's been booked into Kern County Jail in connection with this incident.
