BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Kern County Library will host its first ever Storytime Online session, allowing anyone with an internet connection to take part.
Storytime Online will be streamed live from the Kern County Library's YouTube page and Google + Hangouts on Air starting on the first Tuesday of October at 4:30 p.m. and following on each subsequent Tuesday of the month.
The Kern County Library says the event will help develop children's imaginations, discovery of new ideas, and nurturing of listening skills, vocabulary development, language and literacy skills, and develop a love of reading.
