BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The SPCA and KGET are teaming up again for another round of pet adoptions to raise money for our local animal shelter.
The SPCA is a No-Kill shelter and relies fully on support from the community and donations to stay afloat.
The adoption event will be held next Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 5 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.outside of the KGET studios at 22nd and M Street in downtown Bakersfield.
Lunch will also be served this year starting at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., courtesy of Halliburton.
For $5 you will a hot dog lunch, chips, water, and a KitKat bar.
