BAKERSFIELD, CA- A man was shot and killed in southwest Bakersfield Sunday night.
Bakersfield police responded to Silver Dollar Way and Hosking Avenue around 11:30 p.m. for a report of a victim of a shooting.
When officers arrived they said they found a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head. Authorities said he died at the scene.
"We have very limited suspect information; four males covering their faces with masks and dark clothing. We don't know which direction they ran in." said Sgt. John Rodriguez with the Bakersfield Police Department.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the BPD at 327-7111.
The BPD said this shooting doesn't appear to be connected to a homicide last week, where two masked men shot and killed three people in an east Bakersfield apartment.
