BAKERSFIELD, CA -- Deputies have cited two McFarland men, accused of selling sub-standard food at a farm near Wasco.
Deputies say Rodrigo Lezama, 22, and Jesus Contreras, 21 violated state food codes by selling sub-standard food, adulterated food and food processed by an impure product handler. The two men were issued citations Friday and during the investigation, over 600 pounds of unsafe food items were seized during the investigation.
