BAKERSFIELD, CA- All nine Bakersfield spray parks are closed to comply with the state's water restrictions. Due to the closure, the city will offer free swim days at two of their pools.
Starting August 1 through August 8, the city is offering free swim days at Jefferson Park and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Park.
Both pools will be open from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the weekend.
Both pools will close for the season August 9.
