BAKERSFIELD, CA -- Police are asking for your help finding a woman they say tried to rob a bank Saturday morning in southwest Bakersfield.
Police say the approached an employee at Wells Fargo in the 8000 block of White Lane and displayed a note advising she was robbing the bank. Because of her suspicious behavior when she entered the bank, two other employees approached her at the same time she was displaying the robbery note to the first employee.
It appeared the suspect became nervous, after receiving the attention of the other employees and fled the business without any money. Police describe the woman as black, 25-35, 5’10-6’00, 180-200lbs, light complexion, black pony tail; wearing: white/black baseball cap, dark colored large framed sunglasses, turquoise long sleeve pullover, black pants, white athletic shoes.
