BAKERSFIELD, CA -- Police need your help finding a man they say tried to rob the East Hills Mall Target and threatened to pepper spray its employees.
Police say on the night of March 4, the man entered the Target store at 3401 Mall View Road, selected merchandise and exited without paying.
Store employees contacted the suspect at which time the suspect threatened to pepper spray the employees. The suspect left the merchandise and fled in a black Nissan mini-van, driven by a woman.
The merchandise was recovered by the store employees and no employee was injured. Police describe the man as: White, 30’s, 6-0, black short hair and unshaven.
The woman is described as: White, 50’s, heavy build, red/gray long hair.
