BAKERSFIELD, CA -- The CHP's Central Division will be hosting a recruitment seminar in Bakersfield next week. Organizers say the seminar will help applicants understand the overall responsibility of becoming a CHP officer.
There will be several topics discussed including preparing for the written exam, physical ability test, psychological evaluation, background investigation, academy training, and a career with the CHP. The seminar will be May 20 at the Bakersfield Doubltree Hotel on 3100 Camino Del Rio Court starting at 6:00 p.m.
