BAKERSFIELD, CA -- Bakersfield police are searching for two women they say robbed a store on Brundage Lane and assaulted the store's owner.
Police say one of the women entered Mr. Fast on Brundage Lane, last month and hid merchandise in her purse. She later exited the store without paying for that merchandise. Later, police say she got in a car with another woman who then drove the car in reverse striking the store's owner who tried to retrieve the stolen merchandise. The owner suffered what police describe as minor injuries.
Police say the first suspect is a Black woman, 20-30 years old, 5’6, 180 pounds. The other woman is described as a Black woman, 20-30 years old, 5’6, 160 pounds, black braided hair.
The suspect vehicle was described as a 1999, Brown, Chevy Tahoe, CA license plate #6GXW165.
