ARVIN, CA -- The Kern County Fire Department along with Public Health are preparing to evacuating several homes in Arvin.
That's because of concerns of a break in an underground pipeline.
According to the news release from the office of Supervisor Leticia Perez the pipeline has been shutdown as they work on remediation. The evacuations are described as voluntary.
The homes are located in northwest Arvin.
