BAKERSFIELD, CA -- Deputies say Billy Lewis, 63 has been located safe. Senior Deputy Michael Whorf says Lewis was found Tuesday morning in the foothills in a remote area near Maricopa. He was taken to Kern Medical Center by ambulance for treatment and evaluation. He had been last seen in the Maricopa area. Deputies say on Saturday afternoon, they responded to Elkhorn Grade Road and Golden Cat Road, in Maricopa, for a missing person report.
Deputies were told that Billy Lewis, 63, was last seen Friday, at about 5:00 PM. He is described as a White man with brown hair, blue eyes, 5’9” tall and 160 pounds. An extensive search of the area was conducted and Lewis was not located.
Lewis suffers from various medical conditions that require medication. Lewis is considered to be a critical missing person. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Billy Lewis is urged to call the Kern County Sheriff’s Office at 661-861-3110.
