Police: Man stole woman's purse after breaking car window

BAKERSFIELD, CA -- Bakersfield Police need the public's help identifying and locating the a man and vehicle wanted for fraudulent use of an access Card, possession of stolen property and vehicle burglary. Police say on January 19, 2014, between 9:25 am and 10:30 am the man described as: #1: Hispanic male, 25-35, 5’5”-7”, 140-150 lbs. wearing a black baseball cap, black sunglasses, dark grey long sleeve button up work shirt, blue jeans and black and white tennis shoes,
smashed a window out of the victim’s vehicle which was parked at the Crystal Palace, at 2800 Buck Owens Blvd.

Police say the man removed the victim’s purse containing her identification and credit cards. He was seen operating a:
mid 2000’s maroon GMC truck, 2 door extended cab.

Police say he went to the Lowe’s Home Improvement center at 7825 Rosedale Hwy. and attempted to use the victim’s credit card to make a purchase but the purchase was declined.
